James Van Der Beek may be a perfect celeb BFF for Chloe on "Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23," but Krysten Ritter, who plays Chloe, wasn't exactly pining after Van Der Beek's character on "Dawson's Creek" in her teen years.
"I've never seen 'Dawson's Creek,'" Ritter told HuffPost TV at the New York magazine premiere party for Season 2 of "Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23" (Tues., Oct. 23 at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC). "I'm like the only girl in America!"
Still, Ritter gets along with Van Der Beek just fine. "[We're] bros!" She continued. "We hang out together all the time. We text, we email..."
Ritter's "bro" may have some competition, though: The actress admitted she has another '90s hearthrob in mind for the show.
"Jordan Catalano [is my dream guest star] ... Jared Leto," she said of the "My So-Called Life" actor, who Angela Chase (Claire Danes) crushed on for the entire series. "He would refused to accept that he wasn't Jordan Catalano!" she laughed.
Meanwhile, Ritter revealed that the notoriously psychotic Chloe of "Don't Trust The B" won't be calming down at all in the coming season.
"She's a sociopath, and it's a blast."
"Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23" stars Ritter, Van Der Beek, and Dreama Walker.
