Kylan Brock Accused Of Burglary After Victim Finds Him Drinking Beer In Backyard Of Crime Scene

There's an old saying that a criminal always returns to the scene of the crime -- but this guy never left.

Authorities say that a man returned home to find the alleged burglar of his house casually drinking a beer in his backyard.

The brouhaha took place Oct. 19 in Clarksville, Tenn., when the victim discovered someone had entered the residence and that several items were missing.

When the homeowner checked out the backyard, he saw Kylan Brock, a man he knew but had not granted permission to enter the house. Brock, 27, was casually standing around holding a beer in one hand with another one in his back pocket, the Tennessean newspaper reported.

According to the police report, the victim confronted Brock and said that the suspect admitted being inside the home and taking the beer from the refrigerator. The suspect then fled when the victim called the police.

When police apprehended Brock a short time later, he was in possession of the stolen items, but not his ID. That he left at the crime scene.

Brock is charged with burglary and aggravated burglary. His bail was set at $35,000.

Brock isn't the first robber to make himself at home during a job. Earlier this year, Russell Neff was accused of breaking and entering into a home in Salisbury, Md., stripping down to his underwear and cooking a chicken pot pie belonging to the victim. Oh, and he licked the remote control.
