Army Specialist Kyle Wright was killed Wednesday as an improvised explosive device hit his Stryker vehicle in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
Wright was a native of Romeoville, IL, a small suburb southwest of Chicago. He graduated Romeoville High School in 2006, and shipped out for a one-year deployment in July of 2006.
His family heads to Dover Air Force base to meet his body.
