When you think of New York's best cupcake, you probably don't imagine tofu on the ingredient list. But that hasn't stopped Kyotofu from piling up the awards for their otherworldy desserts.

This place goes way beyond cupcakes, though. Every dessert here is made from soy or tofu -- like warm chocolate-hazelnut kochi cake, green tea creme brûlée and a tofu cheesecake to die for.
