Fifty-seven points. A new career high. Oh, and a 3-point buzzer-beater that sent the game into overtime. To sum up? Kyrie Irving could not be stopped on Thursday night.

The Cleveland Cavaliers went on to defeat the San Antonio Spurs 128-125. Irving made all of his seven 3-point attempts on the way to the victory.
LeBron James, who played without his headband once again, scored 31 points of his own. But it was Irving's night, as the point guard even knocked off James' previous franchise record of 56 points, which James acheived in 2005.
Irving had already come close to beating James' record this season once before when he scored 55 points in a Jan. 28 game against the Portland Trailblazers.
"The kid is special, we all know it, we all see it," James told reporters after the game.
