Monday

Drop by Campanile restaurant for their Rioja wine tasting event tonight from 6-8 p.m. and sample 30 to 40 wines selected by the restaurant's wine team which will also be paired with food. Tickets are $25 per person and you can purchase them here (624 S. La Brea Ave.; 323-938-1447).

Tuesday

Why go to a regular happy hour when you can go to one that lasts all night? Head to Michael's from 5 p.m.-close in Santa Monica and enjoy $6 small plates meant to pair with bartender Jason Robey's cocktail menu (also $6 each). The plates include sweetbread poppers, truffle fries, radish salad, burrata on crostini, Jidori "chicken and waffle" wings and more (1147 Third Street; 310-451-0843).

Wednesday

The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program will hold its tenth and final annual Wine Aficionado Dinner at The Bazaar by José Andrés at the SLS Hotel. Titled "Going out in Style: 10 Great Wines for 10 Great Years," the dinner will present a four-course meal matching Chef Andrés's revered Spanish cuisine with 10 world-class wines, including prized vintages from Colgin, Araujo, Vérité among others. Friday

Chef Eric's Culinary Classroom presents a Couples' Date Night dinner cooking class from 7-9:30 p.m. Learn to cook and eat for free at this amazing event which features recipes like Beef Tenderloin Filets with Red Wine and Mushroom Ragout, grilled polenta with Parmesan cheese, sautéed chicken breast stuffe dwith prosciutto, spinach and cheese, and fallen soufflé cake. Saturday

Sample the suds at the LA Vegan Beer Festival today from 1-5 p.m. Taste beers from more than a dozen breweries, including Anchor, Epic, Fireman's Brew, Golden Road Brewing, Green Flash, Hangar 24, Karl Strauss and Smog City at this vegan-friendly event hosted by Tony's Darts Away, blogger Quarry Girl and The Roxy. Vendors and trucks including Seabirds, Mandoline Grill, Fresh Fries, Doomie's, Frankenstand, Plant Food for People and Amanda's Bakery will serve vegan food. Some proceeds will benefit the California Wildlife Center. Price: $45 ($50 at door); $55 for VIP ($60 at door); $20 for designated drivers, $25 at door (Roxy Theater (9009 Sunset Blvd.).

Sunday

Celebrate Mother's day the foodie way by making reservations at Taste of Pace's monthly supper club going down tonight at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a menu of pea agnolotti; hamachi tartare, potato hash cakes, scallions, avocado lime mousse; golden beet, green asparagus, burrata, crispy prosciutto; lamb, cherry, chervil, herb polenta; strawberry ice cream, honey thyme black pepper lace cookies while you listen to select readings from Tongue & Groove.
