Judd Apatow may want to watch his back, because La La Anthony is out to get him. The reality star, basketball wife and actress is simply dying to sink her nails into the "Knocked Up" director in the hopes that the pair can collaborate on an upcoming film.
“I am on the hunt for my next acting gig," La La, who recently starred in the movie “Think Like a Man,” told The Huffington Post at a Dr. Scholl’s Sole Space event earlier this month. "I’m looking for Judd Apatow, so if you know his address give it to me so I can sit outside his house."
Why does she have her sights set on Apatow?
“I am obsessed with that man," she said. "He can do nothing wrong and I just want to meet him and convince him why he needs to work with me. I am looking forward to doing more in the comedy space.”
La La's big-screen ambition could mean fans would see less of her on reality TV, a field she claims she and her husband, New York Knicks player Carmelo Anthony, just fell into with VH1's "La La's Full Court Life."
“Acting has always been my passion,” she said. “Reality was just something I stumbled into.”
La La assured us that in reality, she only has eyes for her hubby, but she has some very specific male leads in mind when it comes to casting a romantic comedy.
“I love Seth Rogen and that whole world over there, and Channing Tatum. He is fantastic and gorgeous, so those two come to mind,” La La said.
