'Lady And The Tramp' As A Live Action FILM (VIDEO)

'Lady And The Tramp' Goes Live Action

As far as anyone should be concerned, the origin of the phrase "puppy love" should be attributed to Walt Disney's "Lady and the Tramp." Though an animated film about dogs, the scene of Lady and Tramp accidentally kissing while sharing a bowl of spaghetti is a romance classic. Realizing the cinematic gold of that moment, Disney pictures released a live action version of the shot on Tuesday.

The adorable scene is reenacted by two pups; a wiry mutt playing the Tramp and a King Cavalier taking the place of Lady (though Lady was based off a cocker spaniel in the animated version). The stage is set with 2D paper cutouts of buildings with clothing wires strung between, a romantic table set with the familiar bowl of spaghetti.

Lady and Tramp stare at an obvious off-screen trainer for the majority of the clip, but there are a few moments of cuteness, like the attempt at the shared-spaghetti piece. It kind of reminds us of this film also featuring animal actors.
