Just when you thought Lady GaGa could not possibly beat her last crazy outfit she nudges the fashion bar that little bit higher/lower.

Last night she appeared on stage in Tokyo in an a revealing outfit crafted from what looked like lace and talcum powder. You can see the extraordinary pictures here.

With her brassy blonde hair back combed high above her head and a tablecloth tucked into her neck, the Telephone star was carried round the stage by semi-naked dancers covered in talcum powder.

As she writhed to her music, the dancers groped her backside. But wait, it was political!

Last night's event was in honor of the AIDs charity she fronts called the MAC Viva Glam Campaign, which was set up by the cosmetics company in 1994 to support men, women and children around the world who are living with and are affected by HIV/AIDS. Before the show she told Japanese TV:

"In Japan, women and men do not want to talk about AIDS or HIV. It's really uncommon. We're here now to put it on the table, not under the table.''

Warning her fans about unprotected sex, she added, "I sing about sex, I dress sexy...but I want my fans to respect themselves."
