Lady Gaga Reveals To Harper's Bazaar: Garments Tell The Stories Of My Life

Lady Gaga To Harper's Bazaar: Garments Tell The Stories Of My Life

Lady Gaga has the whole shock factor thing down to a science when it comes to her wardrobe. She's done everything from showing up to a baseball game pantless to arriving on the Grammys red carpet inside an egg. And let's not forget about that meat dress.

But is there a method to the sartorial madness? Perhaps there is. According to Gaga's interview in the March 2014 issue of Harper's Bazaar, she uses clothing to keep a record of her career. "I keep everything in an enormous archive in Hollywood. The clothes are on mannequins, also on hangers and in boxes with a photo of each piece, and there's a Web site where I can go to look through everything... these garments tell the stories of my life," she said.

Sure, the meticulous system seems like a ton of work and raises some questions (is the meat dress kept in a fridge?), but we would expect nothing less from Gaga, who strives to instill her belief that "life is an art form" to her fans.

While her style is not for everyone, we cannot deny its uniqueness. You are pressed to find a pop star who would take the kind of risks she does. Having said that, it will be interesting to see how her style continues to evolve in years to come.

The only real question left is: What will she wear to her concert in space?
