At this year's VMAs, Lady Gaga eschewed the meat regalia she wore in 2010 and the gore of her blood-soaked "Paparazzi" rendition in 2009.
But she did surprise viewers by dressing in drag as her androgynous alter ego Jo Calderone.
Gaga -- as Jo -- rocked a white tee and Brooks Brothers suit, and stayed in character for the entire show, which included a performance with Queen's Brian May.
