Lady Gaga's Marina Abramovic Experience Was Pretty Marina Abramovic And Lady Gaga (NSFW Video)

Watch Lady Gaga's NSFW Performance Art Piece

Lady Gaga is readying "ARTPOP," her first album in two years, so it makes sense that she'd be in the mood for some recalibrating. And when you're Lady Gaga, you don't just hit up your local yoga class or tea joint, you stop by Marina Abramovic's institute, the Marina Abramovic Institute. (Non-art fans, you'll recognize her from Jay Z's "Picasso Baby" performance art piece, which she inspired and appears in.)

The Abramovic Method -- which involves lots of yelling, all-white clothing, nature and crystals, is described as "a series of exercises designed to heighten participants' awareness of their physical and mental experience in the present moment."

It's not the first time Gaga and Abramovic have worked together. The pair teamed up for a Hamptons' fundraiser and they also took part in a marathon reading of the sci-fi novel Solaris during a marathon reading organized by the Atlas Review. (What do you do with your friends?)

Be warned: It's NSFW. If you like what you see, kick some coins over to Abramovic's Kickstarter.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this article stated that Abramovic had organized Gaga's reading of Solaris, which was in fact organized by the Atlas Review.
