Lady Gaga looked comfy and casual at last night's MTV Europe Music Awards in Northern Ireland, where she showed up wearing sweatpants and sneakers. Kidding! Instead she rotated through a melange of shiny Paco Rabanne Spring 2012 dresses paired with Philip Treacy hats, some so architectural you could barely see Gaga behind them.
The pop singer earned 4 awards: Biggest Fans, Best Female Act, and Best Song and Best Video for "Born This Way."
To perform her new single "Marry The Night," she wowed a red mirrored bikini and matching red disc as she sang on a set made up to resemble the surface of the moon. Later, she donned green to present an award to Bar Rafaeli. And finally, Gaga toted her trophies into the press room wearing a silver Rabanne dress accentuated with blue lipstick and green glittered eyebrows.
Her gravity-defying headwear throughout the night was, of course, made by famous hat designer Philip Treacy. The various hats at times totally obscured Gaga's eyes and face, leaving us baffled, as always, as to how the singer was able to traverse the stage.
