In the months since I finished "Lady Gaga: Critical Mass Fashion" the singer wore a dress made entirely out of flank steak to the VMAs, an oversized jersey with lingerie to a Yankee game, and appeared on Larry King's show dressed as the host. Maybe it's time to start work on Volume II. In the meantime, these pages are crammed with shots of Gaga's most outrageous, decadent, bizarre, and ultimately, intellectually stimulating looks. Fashion is supposed to be fun, but for Gaga it's also brainy. What is she trying to say with that Kermit the frog dress? What does the teacup mean? Are those rockets on her boobs? The book is an attempt to answer, or at least explore these questions. The lobster hat, though? Never really figured that one out ...
