Lady Gaga Tells 'Oprah's Next Chapter' She Wants To Have 'A Soccer Team' Of Kids (VIDEO)

Lady Gaga Wants To Have A Husband And Lots Of Kids

Lady Gaga sat down with Oprah Winfrey on "Oprah's Next Chapter" (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on OWN) and talked candidly about her plans for the future.

Asked if she saw herself some day as a wife and mother, Gaga said -- tongue somewhat in cheek -- "Yes, I want kids. I want a soccer team, and I want a husband."

She's known for her outspoken public persona and her controversial live performances, but does anything actually scare Gaga? The performer and activist told Oprah that the one thing that does scare her is the safety of her family.

"I just want my family to be safe, " she said. "Because I am sometimes polarizing, I fear for their safety."

The singer also revealed that she has stopped reading press articles about herself, and she does not intend to give any more interviews "for a very long time."

Gaga's mom, Cynthia Germanotta, also joined Oprah for part of the interview and said that she's a big fan of her daughter's work. "There's only one thing I don't like, and she knows what that is," Cynthia revealed.

And that would be? Cursing.

"Oprah's Next Chapter" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on OWN.
