Lamar Odom is speaking out after his father, Joe, gave an interview blaming all the NBA player's problems on his wife, Khloe Kardashian, and her family.
In an extended message posted to Twitter on Tuesday night, Lamar slams his father as a man who was absent his entire life because he was struggling with heroin addiction, and says he was raised solely by his mother and grandmother. He notes that since their deaths, for the first time "came a blessing of a FAMILY that I married into. FAMILY."
Lamar's father had told RadarOnline that Kris Jenner was an "evil bitch" and dismissed Kim as a “porn star," to which Lamar responds that his father has never even met his mother-in-law or some of his other family.
"How can a man who has NOT once called me to check on my well being have the nerve to talk so recklessly about his own 'son'. He is my downfall! His own demons may be the ONLY thing he gave 2 me," he wrote.
What's more, the 33-year-old went on to reveal that this has been a "dark" period of time for him, which is the first admission of any problem.
It's interesting that the last time Lamar tweeted was back in July when rumors of his infidelity were heating up, and particularly telling that he immediately broke his silence to set the record straight following his father's attack on the Kardashians, and yet he has otherwise remained mum on the drug and divorce chatter that has surrounded him for months.

He was absent ALL of my life due to his own demons. My mother and grandmother raised me. Queens raised me. For the first time since they left, came a blessing of a FAMILY that I married into. FAMILY. That man wasn't even invited to my wedding. He has never met my mother in law and some of my other family. How can a man who has NOT once called me to check on my well being have the nerve to talk so recklessly about his own "son". He is my downfall! His own demons may be the ONLY thing he gave 2 me. He disrespecting the ONLY FAMILY that has loved me without expecting anything in return. They are the ONLY ones that have been here consistently 4 me during this dark time.
