Lana Del Rey For H&M: Singer Is Poised To Become The New Face Of The Clothing Brand

H&M Snags Lana Del Rey

UPDATE: H&M confirmed the news that Lana Del Rey will be the global face of H&M’s fall advertising to Women's Wear Daily.

Looks like Lana Del Rey will be donning her own sundress for H&M.

Page Six reports that Del Rey won a contract with H&M and is set to become the new face of the clothing brand.

“She’s shooting an H&M campaign in New York," an unnamed source told The New York Post.

Critics may have thought things were over for Lana Del Rey after her infamous SNL performance, but the fashion industry has said otherwise. After landing a modeling contract and her own Mulberry bag, Del Rey, as the new face of H&M, is achieving the fashion trifecta.

Though the 26-year-old has not completely abandoned the music industry for the fashion world, the singer has been into the fashion fold with open arms by some of the industry's key players.

She made a splash at London Fashion Week in February as Mulberry's special guest, and Christopher Kane played her hit single "Video Games" on repeat during his fashion show. Not to mention, Del Rey was invited to one of the most important fashion events of the year -- in New York, anyway -- the Met Gala.

While Del Rey continues her fashion streak with H&M, she's also set to take on the role of one of history's biggest fashion icons in a new video.

Can you guess which one? Well, we're going to spoil it and tell you. Lana is reportedly playing Jackie O. in her upcoming video for "National Anthem." We can't wait to see if she does Jackie justice.
