We're not the only ones with the iconic beauty and strength of Bond Girls on the brain. Fashion designer LaQuan Smith used the cinematic divas as muses for his Fall 2013 collection "Bond."
Smith's signature use of PVC and Scuba material is explored yet again in several intricately tailored pieces. But there's more to this collection than the slick, modern and, at times, overtly sexy pieces we've come to expect from Smith. This season the designs display a sense of growth and maturity -- best seen in the luxe materials (leather, fur, pony hair and lace) used to elevate the collection.
Smith agrees that his designs and customer have evolved. "She's still sexy without being trashy and that was my goal," Smith told The Huffington Post. "I wanted to do something that was both daring and luxe."
There's no doubt that Rihanna and Smith's other famous fans will be spotted rocking his new creations. However, mere mortals who didn't see themselves in Smith's body-con, eye-catching designs in the past will definitely find more than one piece from this collection to snag come fall -- while still retaining that Bond Girl edginess.
