Jyoti Amge And Brahim Takioullah Team Up To Set Amazing Feet Record

What Is This 8-Foot Man Doing With A 25-Inch Woman?

They're sole mates.

The world's smallest woman and the man with the world's biggest feet are teaming up to set a Guinness record of epic proportions -- the largest online foot photo album.

Jyoti Amge and Brahim Takioullah are calling on 50,000 participant to step before the camera for the Amazing Feet challenge -- one of the largest mass-participation records ever attempted.

worlds biggest feet challenge

The photos must be submitted before the end of the summer and Guinness doesn't want to see your new floral wedges. All participants must go barefoot.

This unlikely pair -- one with 15-inch feet, the other just 24.7 inches tall -- have their work cut out for them. So far, only 232 photos of feet have been submitted. But both are amazing in their own way.

At 8-foot-1, the 31-year-old Takioullah is the second tallest living man. He was born in Morocco before moving to Paris, where he was treated for acromegaly, a rare pituitary disorder.

Takioullah wears a European size-58 shoe, and that, of course, makes it nearly impossible to shop

"I always need them made-to-measure and they're very expensive. I once asked a cobbler to make me some shoes and he said it would cost 3,500 euros (5,270 dollars)," he told Guinness.

Jyoti, 19, weighs just 11 pounds. She's shorter than the average 2-year-old, but attended a regular school with other children, though she required a smaller desk and chair.

Jyoti has already appeared in two Bollywood films, and aspires to reach new heights in theater.

Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief of Guinness World Records, says Jyoti and Takioullah are the perfect ambassadors for this leggy event.

"The resulting record-breaking collection will be unveiled in exciting fashion at a later date.”
