The U.S. Department of Transportation just released a new survey of the most on-time airlines in America, rating the major carriers on their ability to get passengers to their destinations on schedule. While the number-one carrier comes as no surprise, some of the other top performers deserve recognition for a job (largely) well done in 2014.

On-time percentage in 2014: 68.8
2. ExpressJet
On-time percentage in 2014: 70.8
3. Southwest Airlines (including AirTran flights)
On-time percentage in 2014: 73.5
4. Frontier Airlines
On-time percentage in 2014: 74.1
5. JetBlue
On-time percentage in 2014: 75.4
6. United Airlines
On-time percentage in 2014: 76.0
7. American Airlines (including US Airways flights)
