Lauren Alaina Releases Video For New Single, 'Georgia Peaches'

Is Lauren Alaina's 'Georgia Peaches' The New Country Girl Anthem?

American Idol has cranked out another kick-ass female country singer, and she's well on her way to making it big. Our money's on 17-year-old Lauren Alaina to become the next Carrie Underwood -- and the second single from her debut album Wildflowers, "Georgia Peaches," could be the country girl anthem of 2012.

The southern belle chose her BFFs to co-star in her new music video. In classic Georgia style, the video features the girls driving a Ford Mustang up to a diner at 2 a.m. and flirting with the boys sitting a few tables over. She croons to the boys, "You don't stand a chance once you've seen a southern lady... Ain't nothing sweeter than us Georgia peaches."

The song is inspired by Lauren's own Georgia roots. She said in a press release, "The song just spoke to me when I heard it. I felt like I could have written it myself. I am a proud Georgia Peach!”
