Lauren Spierer's Parents Appeal To Her Friends For Information

Lauren Spierer's parents made a plea for information at a Friday press conference in Bloomington, Indiana. They urged their daughter's friends to come forward with any possible information about her disappearance.

People Magazine has more:

"We are appealing to the parents of the children who may have first hand or second hand knowledge of what happened to Lauren," Rob Spierer, Lauren's father.

"Please take the time to sit down with your children over this weekend, sit down and talk to them and find out if they know anything.

With tears flowing, Spierer continued, "Help your children find the courage to come forward. Help them find their moral compass to do the right thing."

Several IU students with Spierer in the hours before she disappeared; including Mike Beth, Corey Rossman, David Rohn, Spierer's boyfriend Jesse Wolfe and Jay Rosenbaum, have all retained lawyers in the investigation. Rosenbaum, the last person to see Sperier reportedly refuses to speak to the police.

Joe Qualters, the captain of the Bloomington police force told People that only only one of Spierer's friends has voluntarily shared information with law enforcement, a fact that he termed "perplexing" and "unfortunate."
