Laurie Hernandez's First Pitch At A Mets Game Was Flippin' Awesome

And we're not even surprised.

Is there anything Laurie Hernandez can’t do?

On Sept. 3, the Olympic gold medalist threw the ceremonial first pitch before the New York Mets took on the Washington Nationals, and it was anything but ordinary. Before throwing the ball toward the plate, Hernandez casually landed an aerial cartwheel.

Here’s a breakdown of that creative first pitch:

The same day, Hernandez’s Olympic teammate Madison Kocian also showed off her gymnastics skills for her first pitch before the Texas Rangers played the Houston Astros.

The two Olympic medalists followed in the footsteps of their Final Five teammates. In August, Aly Raisman threw the first pitch at Fenway Park before the Boston Red Sox played the Kansas City Royals (and had baseball player David Ortiz hold her medals), and Simone Biles tossed one over the plate at a Houston Astros game in July. Like Hernandez, Gabby Douglas threw the first pitch at a New York Mets game in 2012.

In case you need more proof that the Final Five is flippin’ awesome, there you have it.
