After being issued an eviction lawsuit from her New Jersey landlord in April, Lauryn Hill has reportedly responded to the dispute by vacating the property.
According to TMZ, the eight-time Grammy Award-winning singer has reached a settlement by agreeing to pay $7,000 in rent and move out of the South Orange residence by May 31.

The 38-year-old was originally sued, along with her landlord, by the North New Jersey suburb for breaching a zoning violation for allegedly running a business from out of the home. However, since Hill has agreed to leave the premises, a South Orange lawyer tells the New Jersey Star-Ledger that the town is now dropping the suit.
Hill is expected to begin serving her three-month prison sentence for tax evasionon July 8.
