Lea Michele And Ariana Grande Have A 'Scream Queens' Secret

They might need to change the name of the show.

Doesn't Lea Michele remind you of that girl in your middle school chorus class who refuses to sing because her vocal coach doesn't want her to have any outside training? Well, according to Michele, she's not too hot on screaming either.

Michele is the November cover girl for Women's Health magazine and revealed some juicy behind the scenes tidbits about her new show, "Scream Queens."

"I refuse to scream on the show," she says. "Ryan [Murphy] got me in a booth one day, and I told him 'I'm screaming like twice and then you're going to have to use it the whole season,' because I'm a singer."

She also mentioned that her pop star co-star/donut aficionado Ariana Grande isn't too hot on screaming either. "I was there with Ariana Grande and we were like, 'We can't scream, this is our gift.' So I don't scream, they just dub it in. But they say I do a really good scream face without having to scream."

The former "Glee" star and Broadway vet plays Hester Ulrich, a sorority pledge with a mommy complex whose sorority is being stalked by a masked serial killer called the Red Devil. Michele's Hester has survived the first batch of episodes, but in a show like "Scream Queens," it's only a matter of time before you have to face the music.

"The cast is incredible, the scripts are so funny, they're also really scary," she told Women's Health. "I couldn't be happier right now. It's really such an amazing blessing."

"Scream Queens" airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
