
A group of leading food and drink companies, including Heinz, Muller and Coca Cola, have curbed their water use by 16.1 per cent since 2007, saving more than £2.2m in the process.
That is the conclusion of the latest annual report on the Federation House Commitment (FHC), which encourages businesses to voluntarily sign up to a water reduction target designed to curb water use by 20 per cent against the 2007 baseline by 2020.
