LeAnn Rimes Slams 'US Weekly' Wedding Allegations

LeAnn Rimes took to Twitter to refute Us Weekly's allegations that her recent nuptials were similar to Eddie Cibrian's 2001 wedding to his ex-wife, Brandi Glanville.

According to the magazine, both weddings took place in spring near a beach, and Rimes and Glanville both donned gowns designed by Reem Acra.

Rimes, who recently changed her Twitter user name to LeAnn Rimes Cibrian, tweeted, "Why would I EVER want to be anyone but me?! I've got a pretty dang great life that's authentically my own. I'm proud of it!"

"NO ONE that we invited to our wedding breathed a wrd and there was only ONE couple that was even at both, so nonsense!" she writes of the report, calling Us Weekly "obsessed" and "delusional."

As for her dress, Rimes writes: "Reem is the sweetest! Her offer to make my dress and the time that went into it was just overwhelming."

An unidentified source told the magazine that Cibrian referenced his first wedding in a speech at Friday's nuptials.

"We've both had much larger weddings before, about 100-150 people both, but we just wanted our closest of friends and family here with us tonight," he reportedly told his guests. "The next one will be ever smaller though."

Cibrian and Rimes, who divorced their former spouses after news of their affair broke in March 2009, tied the knot on Friday in a secret ceremony in front of family and friends.
