Location: Palau is an independent nation that sits in the Western Pacific Ocean. It was formerly part of Micronesia.

Location: Moldova sits tucked between Romania and Ukraine.

8. Timor-Leste

Number of Visitors: 78,000
Location: Southeast Asia's Timor-Leste is mostly surrounded by islands you haven't heard of. Timor-Leste encompasses the eastern part of Timor island, which sits roughly 1,250 miles north of the coast of Australia.

Location: Dominica is an island in the Lesser Antilles region of the Caribbean Sea. Nearby islands include Guadeloupe and Martinique.
