Give it a listen.

LeBron James and Kevin Durant, superstar opponents in the ongoing NBA Finals, were quite the rap team back in the day.

A song apparently recorded by the two in 2011 has been leaked, Sports Illustrated reported Tuesday.

Listen to the “secret” clip below. It sure sounds like the NBA greats, doesn’t it?

We dig the track’s dig at columnist and broadcaster Skip Bayless:

Spider Studios, a Cleveland recording studio, has also promised to release the full track if it gets enough retweets.

ESPN got the ball rolling Monday when it reported on the existence of the collaboration. The two players were working out in Akron, Ohio, during the NBA lockout when they decided to hit the recording studio, the sports network noted. The players confirmed they performed the hip-hop duet back then, and a former agent for both told ESPN that he heard it. But it wasn’t likely to ever be heard by the masses.

Anyway, we figure both players might be a tad busy at the moment to worry about their music careers.

Durant’s Golden State Warriors lead James’ Cleveland Cavaliers by two games in the finals.
