LeBron James Bleeds After Foul From Serge Ibaka And Twitter Is Shocked Such A Thing Is Possible

OUCH! Even LeBron Bleeds

Even LeBron James bleeds, apparently.

The four-time NBA MVP was forced to leave the Miami Heat's win over the Oklahoma City Thunder after a hard foul by Serge Ibaka left him writhing in pain and bleeding on the court at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Thursday night. James appeared to be hit in the face as he soared toward the rim for a dunk. He would finish the play but stay down after the basket with a puddle of blood forming beneath him.

The sight of blood pooling beneath James' head was enough to send fans commenting on Twitter into a brief frenzy. There was concern, anger and even some surprise. Until this moment, it may have been unclear to some that James could indeed be made to bleed his own blood.

James would not return as the Heat rolled the rest of the way to a 103-81 win. After the game, Miami coach Erik Spoelstra didn't reveal anything about the incident beyond the obvious.
