Sometimes, even if you're a four-time NBA MVP, a two-time NBA champion and widely regarded as one of the greatest to ever play the game, just sometimes, you still need the kind of comforting that only your mom can give you.
LeBron James, proving that he's still kind of just like us, got a little smooch from his mom, Gloria, during Thursday's Game 4 after he suffered a pretty nasty cut.
James, proving that he's certainly not like us, immediately returned to the game with the gash, which came from colliding with a cameraman late in the second quarter of the Cavs' 103-82 loss to the Golden State Warriors.
Although some glue (glue?!) kept the wound together for the rest of the game, James told reporters afterwards that he did get stitched up and had a "slight headache."
Now I just really want to hug my mom, too. LOVE YOU, MOM.
