Leonardo DiCaprio Almost Quit Acting To Pursue An Unlikely Career

He was a skilled break dancer known as "Noodle."

Leonardo DiCaprio has long been known as an award-winning actor, but there was a point where the "Revenant" star was taking home accolades for a very different career: break dancing.

As Leo once told Oprah, his break dancing pursuits actually almost led him to quit acting entirely when he was 11 years old.

"Now, don't ask me to break dance because I've since lost my moves, but I was a break dancer and I had a choppy, sort of punky haircut," Leo says.

He wasn't just any break dancer; Leo even got some recognition for this talents, taking home second place, he says, in a small German competition. His skills also earned him the nickname "Noodle."

"That's from way, way back when I was a little kid, in my pop-locking days," he says, with a smirk.

Sadly, no video seems to exist of Leo in his break-dancing youth, but at least we'll always have "Wolf of Wall Street":
