Although Bristol Palin insists that her new appearance is due to "corrective jaw surgery," her ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston isn’t so sure. He claims that Sarah Palin’s daughter has always been uncomfortable with her body, compared to her very confident mother.
"It's not the Bristol I once knew,” Johnston told me on the set of "New York Live," referencing Bristol’s new face. "After she got the fame and the money it all changed after that. I think she definitely changed into the worst."
In his new book, "Deer in the Headlights," Johnston says the mother of his child previously had liposuction on her chin and was never comfortable with her appearance.
"She looks like she got some jaw work going on there," Johnston says. "She was uncomfortable with [her body] growing up but was never one to go out and get plastic surgery. I mean, she never wanted to do that. But now she’s got the money."
And although both of their young lives were changed forever after Bristol's mother ran for office, Johnston says he’s still happy that he met the mother of his child and her family.
"I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I have a beautiful son. You know Bristol and I had some great times," Johnston tells me. "And this whole media thing, meeting a lot of great people, I’m a lot smarter. It's been a fun ride."
