Liam Neeson's 'End Violence Against Children' Campaign Finds Actor Partnering With UNICEF For New Philanthropy Effort

Actor Aims To Reduce Violence Against Children

Liam Neeson has partnered with UNICEF to launch the End Violence Against Children campaign, a multi-year awareness effort that aims to mitigate the bullying and abuse of young ones.

"Just because you can't see violence against children doesn't mean it isn't there," Neeson says in a PSA for the effort. "Make the invisible visible. Help us make violence against children disappear."

Neeson hopes to aid the Center for Disease Control's estimated 3.3 million cases of abused or neglected children in 2010. The actor joins the bevy of celebrities who've spearheaded charitable effort in recent years, including Bono, Angelina Jolie and Matt Damon.
