Liao Hong-Lin, Taiwanese Man, Transforms Self Into Human Flag (VIDEO)

WATCH: Taiwanese Man Becomes Human Flag

A Taiwanese man is about to embark on a six-month world tour during which he'll repeatedly transform himself into a human flag, reports ITN.

He first began the stunt at train stations around Taiwan last year.

Known as the "Taiwan Floatman," the 29-year-old balances on poles while sporting a t-shirt printed with the Taiwan flag and the word "Taiwan" shaved into his head.

To capture his patriotic move, his partner takes photos of him holding the horizontal position.

According to the International Business Times, the cyclist says he plans to spread the word about Taiwan as he visits countries around the world. China is not on his list, however.

Although Taiwan and China have been governed separately since the end of a civil war in 1949, Beijing still considers the island of 23 million to be part of its territory.
