What joy beholds us
at this time of new birth
What delicate sadness
retreats into memories
a loved one passes
one moves on
one moves in
These are feelings
that I experience
in each and every season.
Never the same
yet the essence is familiar
This season finds my daughter
Heather
her husband
Freddie
their daughter
Harper
moving to a new place
in the Northwest part of our country
Spokane Washington
Their new life begins there
as new life begins
within Heather as well
new fruit of their love
and a new human experience
for Harper
Harper, four years old
is so full of
life and love
her joy is not to be contained
but rather shared
delight follows her
as she spreads her abundant
love and possibility
to all who encounter her
Today I celebrate with

found a new
destination
bestowed upon their first born
