Every one of Linda Gassenheimer's recipes is delicious (which is always my top priority) and easy to prepare (also critically important). Here are some of my favorites.

I am about to make a shameless endorsement for one of my favorite chefs... someone whose recipes and cooking philosophy, frankly, make sure my family gives me a " Thanks, Mom," or "Honey, that was great!" every night of the week.

Who is she? Linda Gassenheimer, an award-winning cookbook author, food consultant and columnist, who has been offering easy and delicious recipes to subscribers of our Bottom Line/Personal newsletter for over 20 years. Every one of her recipes is delicious (which is always my top priority) and easy to prepare (also critically important).

Some of my favorites:

Good-For-Your Dinners in 15 Minutes or Less. I much prefer preparing fresh-cooked dinner for my family than reheating, but never have time to be elaborate at the end of a workday.

Delicious Recipes for Leftover Steak. This recipe was created with my father in mind because he gets bored with leftovers.

Tasty Breakfasts to Go
-- far more nutritious, and yummier, than my typical bag of dry cereal and an apple.

What I most love about Linda's recipes is that she transforms healthy foods (in other words, "foods I should eat") into delicacies (a.k.a. "foods I want to eat"). She's done that with fish... beans... healthy grains and more.

Ok, so here's a great opportunity for you: Linda will be working her recipe magic in a live, free webinar that we are sponsoring called Delicious Diabetes Dinners Everyone Will Love.

Being diagnosed with diabetes, or prediabetes, can feel like a lifetime sentence in food jail. Linda will prove to you that it doesn't have to be that way, as she shares her secrets for creating delectable meals that everyone, not just people with diabetes, will enjoy.

Face it: If we all followed these guidelines, we'd all feel much better.

The program, part of our new Bottom Line Experts Live! series, is free for all. It's next Wednesday, January 23 at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST. Simply click here to sign up for Delicious Diabetes Dinners Everyone Will Love. And please invite your family and friends to do the same!
