Lindsay Lohan Had Ben Affleck Visit Her In Rehab, Instruct Her On Staying Sober And Making A Comeback

Ben Affleck Visited LiLo In Rehab, Advised Her On Getting Back In The Game

Lindsay Lohan has been back in the spotlight ever since she finished her court mandated 90-day stint in rehab, and now reports are surfacing as to who advised her on getting back into the game: Ben Affleck.

Affleck, who'd been in rehab himself in 2001, visited with the troubled actress away from the Malibu facility she had been residing in at the time. According to TMZ, Affleck talked to her about maintaining her sobriety post-rehab and how supportive Hollywood can be for those intent on making a comeback.

Despite previous reports that LiLo was also offered a role in Affleck's upcoming flick "Live by Night," current reports state no such offer was made. The two stars' chat was strictly about their personal struggles and overcoming them. "A former substance abuser himself, Lindsay said [Ben] was there to check on her and see how she was doing," a source told RadarOnline.

Last December, Affleck spoke openly about hitting rock bottom and returning to the Hollywood scene big time in GQ's Men of the Year issue, right before winning the world over with "Argo." Here's hoping LiLo follows his gameplan!

A request for comment made to Affleck's rep was not immediately answered.
