Lindsay Lohan's TV Comeback As Liz Taylor?

Is Lindsay Lohan plotting a career comeback through TV work? Lohan has reportedly landed the role of Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime's TV movie biopic, according to "Access Hollywood."

Lohan, who recently booked a "Saturday Night Live" hosting gig for March 3, will play the legendary actress in Lifetime's "Liz and Dick." However, there's a condition: "Access Hollywood" reports Lohan must remain out of trouble and comply with her court-ordered mandates.

The "Mean Girls" actress is due back in court on Wed., Feb. 22.

Lucy Lawless has a new TV gig.
The "Spartacus" actress has officially signed on to appear opposite Holly Hunter and Elisabeth Moss in the BBC miniseries "Top of the Lake." Look for "Top of the Lake" to air on the Sundance Channel in the US. [TVLine]
