Lindsay Lohan Probation Revoked: Actress Facing 8 Months In Jail

Lindsay Lohan Probation Revoked

Lindsay Lohan is officially facing hefty jail time, now that her revoked her probation.

Lohan wasn't present in court this morning, where she was arraigned on charges for lying to the police about driving recklessly when she crashed her car on the Pacific Coast Highway in June.

Lohan is on probation after pleading no contest to misdemeanor theft charges for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace in 2011. A hearing has been set for Jan. 15 to decide if Lohan will serve jail time for the violation. The "Liz & Dick" actress faces 245 days in jail, but as TMZ reports, Commissioner Godfrey is "not a big jail person," according to a source.

Lohan may have lucked out, as Godfrey reportedly strongly favors counseling over jail time, and she even has a graduation ceremony for those who complete the program -- and reportedly even presents them with small gifts, such as Starbucks gift cards, to celebrate their completion.
