Lindsey Wixson, 16-Year-Old Model, Takes Over The Runways (PHOTOS, POLL)

If there's one model who truly took over the runways in New York, London, Milan and Paris, it's Lindsey Wixson. The 16-year-old (yes, you read that correctly) from Kansas reportedly decided at the ripe age of 12 that she wanted to model. When she told her parents, "My mom was like, 'are you sure you want to do this?' She didn't know what was going on," Wixson explained to W magazine in February, adding, "Luckily, I had an older sister and so my parents were like, 'Teenagers go through phases and it's going to be okay.' They really have stood behind me the entire way."

Wixson's first runway strut was at Cynthia Steffe's Spring 2010 New York Fashion Week show and she opened for Prada in Milan that same season, which is a pretty big deal. Since then, she -- and her signature pout and gap teeth -- has been featured in tons of editorials and scored some major fashion campaigns, like Miu Miu and Barneys. She hasn't hesitated to keep her modeling PG, once asking for a bra to wear under a see-through shirt (she told W, "Even though I freaked a little, I know for a fact that my mom would freak ten times as much. I just couldn't be flashing everyone out there"). And she walked in what seemed like every show this season.
