"Good Morning America" may have another reason to celebrate.

After the ABC morning show beat the "Today" show's 17-year winning streak in the number of key demographic viewers, there was another, non-ratings related factor signifying "GMA's" rise to the top.

"Today" superfan Linny Boyette, who has appeared in Rockefeller Plaza every morning for 20 years, headed over to "Good Morning America" last week when the NBC program was live from London. The New York Post reported that Boyette was seen on and off-camera, and even posed for a picture with the "GMA" hosts.

Boyette was the subject of a "Today" show online segment in 2010. Known as "Today's" biggest fan, Boyette travels by subway from his home in the Bronx every morning to appear in the crowd cheering the NBC morning show at 5:30 a.m. "It makes my day," Boyette said of traveling to Rockefeller Plaza daily. "He's sort of like a good luck charm," co-host Al Roker said in the 2010 segment.

It remains unclear if Boyette will camp outside "GMA" once "Today" returns from London.
