Is A New 'Little House On The Prairie' Movie In The Works?

It's been a while since Laura Ingalls Wilder's novel "Little House On The Prairie" has gotten the on-screen treatment, but Sony Pictures is working on making it happen again, Deadline reports.

Scott Rudin is on board with Trip Friendly to produce the film, according to Deadline, while David Gordon Green is set to direct and Abi Morgan will write.

Based on Wilder's tale of her family's farm life on the Kansas prairie, "Little House On The Prairie," spent eight years on the small screen previously with the series of the same name that aired on NBC from 1974 to 1983.
