Ever find yourself watching a "Law & Order" episode and yelling at the TV when the jury reaches the wrong verdict? Do you get a thrill from watching real-life court cases on TV? Then NBC has the perfect new show for you.

"Law & Order" god Dick Wolf has teamed up with "Top Chef" producers Magical Elves and NBC for "Law & Order: You the Jury," a new live reality series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The network has given a series order to the show, which will feature real-life court cases on live TV with viewer participation. Viewers will not only be able to ask witnesses questions or inquire about evidence -- they will also determine the verdict.

Now our only remaining questions: Can this get us off real jury duty? Is this the future? Is this, uh, a good idea? "You the Jury" has yet to receive a premiere date, so brush up on your law books until then, i.e. binge-watch "Law & Order."
