Virgin Hair In A Bottle?

When I decided to stop chemically straightening my hair over 10 years ago, I thought I'd be closer to regaining the thick, tightly curled strands that I was born with. Yet, transitioning to healthier hair via box braids, press-n-curls and flat twists only added more stress to my tresses.

Well, the scientists behind Living Proof have developed a new line of products they believe restores "virgin hair."

Boasting the hair care brand's signature moisture-controlling molecule, PolyfluoroEster, Restore shampoo, conditioner and mask treatment nourishes locks damaged from excessive shampooing, brushing and heat styling by creating a protective layer that heals and prevents future harm. Its sulfate-free formula containing Tucuma seed butter, wheat protein and creatine forms a weightless blend that increases shine and smooths cuticles. But It may take up to five uses before your hair starts to feel and behave like it did when you were a kid, according to the brains behind Restore.

What do you think about Living Proof's claim to restore your "virgin hair?" Will you be rushing to the store to pick up the products?
