London Underground Song Features Name Of Every Station, Is Surprisingly Catchy

Mind The Rap

Londoners have always seemed to be "quite keen" on their public transportation system, which celebrated its 150th birthday this year.

London Underground passengers have proposed on trains, skied down escalators in Tube stations and invented an app to help commuters find love. This week, some guy even went so far as to reveal his "taste map" of the Tube -- a neurological disorder causes him to taste words as he says them, lending each stop a distinct flavor.

Another recent addition to our Tube obsession files comes from London Underground engineer Ben Langham. In his vaguely hip-hoppy "A-Z Of The Underground," Langham and friends name off all 270 tube stops to the beat of sounds recorded from real train stations. Take a listen!
