Jonathan Groff Takes Center Stage In New 'Looking' Trailer

HBO's Gay 'Girls'?

HBO debuted a trailer with the first footage from their upcoming series, "Looking."

Starring Jonathan Groff ("Glee"), Frankie J. Alvarez ("Smash") and Murray Bartlett ("Guiding Light"), the show follows a trio of gay men living in San Francisco, trying to find love in the digital age.

While the trailer is brief, it gives us a glimpse at what could very likely become HBO's gay version of "Girls." (Fingers crossed?)

The stars were also on hand last night at Out magazine's Out100 Awards in New York, where they introduced the trailer. Check out some photos of the cast at the event below and tune in to watch "Looking" on Jan. 19 on HBO.
