For her first appearance at the 2014 Grammy Awards, we were hoping to see Lorde's gothic vibes come alive with her dark and tousled curls and a lengthy gown. Instead we got to see the teenage singer leave an impression through her chilling performance of "Royals" wearing straighter hair and some bad ass dip-dyed fingertips.
Okay, so we might not be sticking our hands into paint or henna dye anytime soon, but we must admit, Lorde brought all of those basic manicures on the E! Mani Cam to shame. And OF COURSE, she chose black, which just makes this look more creative and a bit creepy.
