Husbands or boyfriends? Together or broken up? We have so many questions for designer Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone--so many questions and so few answers. The latest rumors via New York Daily News say the couple is "on the rocks" after Martone made out with another guy.
Jacobs and Martone were holding hands at last Thursday's amfAR Gala, but only Martone attended Wilhelmina Models CEO Sean Patterson's birthday party afterward:
Insiders tell Gatecrasher that one of the male guests at Patterson's home caught the eye of Martone. To complicate matters, the guest had arrived with his girlfriend. One thing led to another, and the sources say the woman caught her boyfriend in a lengthy liplock with Martone and freaked out. A messy argument erupted, with "lots of yelling," one source says, and the situation only got uglier from there. Was it so messy that Jacobs got wind of it?
Jacobs didn't thank Martone upon winning best womenswear designer at Monday's CFDA Awards, nor was Martone in the audience. And Martone said that Jacobs has nothing to do with his upcoming swimwear line. Rumors of the couple's split started in April, but they've been seen together since then.
