Los Angeles Art Scene: Heavy Hitters In LA's Art World

PHOTOS: A Who's Who Guide To The LA Art Scene

The beginning of gala season in Los Angeles is bringing out the city's heavy hitters when it comes to art philanthropy, curation, and cultural tastemaking--and people are starting to notice that more faces are crowding the spotlight when it comes to the city's art scene. Hollywood actors and personalities like Nicole Richie and Tom Hanks are showing up on the red carpets of gallery openings, and the city is buzzing with neighborhood art walks, festivals, and a youthful art patronage group. Here's a few more people to look out for at the next art fete, both well-known and up-and-coming.
